The Peace of the World depends on peace and amity between nations; the peace of nations depends upon the peace between the concomitant units, the villages, the families and finally, the individuals of each family. So, every individual has a responsibility to love others, have faith in them, and revere them as sparks of the Divine.

The Sri Sathya Sai Centenary is not an ordinary occurrence in the history of creation. It is a cosmic milestone that does not merely mark the celebration of hundred years of the physical earthly sojourn of our beloved Master, but the commemoration of that rarest of the rare moment when the Supreme Absolute Self chose to descend upon earth in the charming and beautiful human form of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
It is that Supreme Being from whom the countless universes arise, in whom they are sustained, and into whom they ultimately dissolve.
He is the timeless Reality that the scriptures of every faith proclaim in their own ways. To celebrate the Centenary of such a rare occurrence is not to count years, but to stand in awe and reverence before the mystery of the Infinite becoming the finite for the sake of Love and assuming the form of Love, pure, unsullied and Divine.
The Centenary of Sri Sathya Sai belongs not merely to those who identify themselves as his ‘devotees’. Bhagwan never limited devotion to labels. He came for the Humanity as a whole and for Him, Humanity itself is His devotee. This celebration, is therefore, the heritage of all mankind.
In this light, the Centenary World Conference is unlike any gathering before it. It is not a mere convention, nor an assembly of seekers exchanging thoughts, but a sacred convergence at a threshold moment, where we stand guided by a century blessed with the direct physical presence and divine words of Bhagawan, and now step into another century illumined by His universal message, sustained by His eternal omnipresence.
This World Conference is convened at a time when the world longs for peace amidst strife, division, and restlessness. Bhagawan has repeatedly reminded us that true and lasting peace is not secured by treaties or external agreements; it must arise from within through the awakening of the spirit, the practice of eternal human values, the blossoming of Love and the dissolution of the ego.
It is in this spirit that the Conference is anchored in the vision “The Pathways to World Peace.” These pathways are not external strategies, which at best yield only scattered ‘pieces’, but the inner journey revealed by the Lord Himself for true Peace through the practice of Love, which is the undercurrent of all human values. The essence of the vision is distilled in the threefold summons to mankind: “Celebrating the Eternal, Living the Universal, and Dissolving the Individual.” The inner transformation unfolds when man awakens to the Eternal, lives His Universal message rooted in human values, and allows his individuality to dissolve into the Infinite. Hence, these pathways are not a poetic postulate, but the Divine charter for humanity’s lasting peace and destiny.
Towards this fulfilment, the vision of this conference aims to inspire individuals, families, societies, and nations to walk the ‘Pathways to World Peace’ by living the eternal human values that sustain creation. When these values are practiced, unity blossoms, harmony prevails, and peace becomes the natural fragrance of life.
The significance of this Conference, therefore, is no ordinary one. It is a clarion call to delve into the reality of the Sri Sathya Sai Avatar, as proclaimed by the Lord Himself; to attune our lives to His eternal and universal message; and to strengthen the roots of practice so that humanity may rededicate itself to the cause of world peace and the foundation of the future may thus rest securely upon His Divine words, guiding mankind towards its eternal destiny.
In its deeper intent, this conference seeks to remind man of his divine origin, to illumine the path of his journey in the light of Bhagawan’s message, and to awaken him to his true destiny where the individual ceases to exist in separateness and merges back into the Infinite Source, thus fulfilling the very purpose of his earthly sojourn. For individuality is but a veil, concealing the peace that Bhagawan has revealed to be man’s true nature.
The vision of this World Conference on the eve of the Sri Sathya Sai Centenary with the three summons to mankind, is the distilled essence of Bhagawan’s Avataric Descent and His Message for the redemption and amelioration of humanity. It is a sacred endeavour, a gesture of gratitude and a solemn pledge to embody His Message in our thoughts, words, and deeds, so that we may become the living embodiments of Love, as He endearingly called us.
On a transcendental level, this Conference is not a passing event in time, but a landmark in eternity, a sacred turning moment when humanity, for its own redemption, solemnly rededicates itself to His universal message, in recognition of His Eternal Reality, resolving to live in Oneness and to journey towards the One Eternal Source.
