Announcing the Prasanthi Declaration on Universal Human Values
With the Grace of our Beloved Bhagawan, and with the eternal flame of hope kindled in our hearts, we humbly offer to the world a declaration of deep spiritual resonance and global import — the sacred proclamation of the Prasanthi Declaration on Universal Human Values.
This historic Declaration was unveiled on 9th July 2025 at the sacred precincts of Prasanthi Nilayam, during the Sri Sathya Sai Human Values Conference, jointly convened by the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning and the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India. In the Divine presence that perennially sanctifies this hallowed ground, a collective vision for universal transformation, rooted in the most fundamental and existential principles of human life as propounded by our Lord and Master, Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was offered to humanity.
The Declaration is a solemn affirmation and a resounding clarion call — inviting all to rekindle their innate divinity and reclaim the right to humanity through the conscious practice of the five eternal human values:
- Sathya (Truth)
- Dharma (Righteousness)
- Shanti (Peace)
- Prema (Love)
- Ahimsa (Non-Violence)
These values are not mere ideals; they are the essence of our being — the foundation of individual integrity, social harmony, and spiritual fulfilment. In a world yearning for unity and healing, the Prasanthi Declaration shines forth as a beacon, guiding humanity toward a future anchored in selflessness, empathy, and higher purpose.
We humbly invite individuals, families, educators, institutions, and leaders across all walks of life to study, internalise, and embody the timeless principles enshrined in this Declaration. When lived collectively, these values possess the transformative power to elevate human life, heal relationships, and guide society towards a civilisation anchored in ethics, morality, and spirituality. In doing so, man reclaims his true destiny — not merely to exist as a being, but to live as a human in the fullest, noblest sense of the word.
Let us come together — not as mere participants, but as torchbearers of this sacred mission.
