22nd Morning session

Humble Pranams at the Divine Lotus Feet of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Introduction:

 

The youth wing of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation from the twin Telugu speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana undertook few society oriented activities before embarking on a journey towards Bhagawan’s Divine abode-Puttaparthi. An extensive program was launched to reach out to the youth from all 44 districts with a clear message for all them – ‘Bhagawan is waiting for their arrival’

 

Youth who attended this programmeparticipated in the following three activities in their respective home-towns:

 

  • Blood Donation Camp– Helping others by donating Liquid Love
  • Nama Sankeerthana for 93 Minutes
  • Grama Seva– Village service that included cleaning, holding medical camps, conducting workshops for farmers, veterinary Camps and many more.

 

Aim and Objective:

 

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has always given prime importance to the youth and said on several occasions that “Youth if ideal in Character and habits can change the face of this World”. The main and prime motive of bringing the youth is to have Darshan of Bhagawan Baba’s Divya Sannidhi with full faith that thereafter Bhagawan would guide the youth to transform the world. .

 

When you go back to your respective places, you should try and promote some connection with Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation. The important changes that have come about in your life should be demonstrated to your parents”

Proceedings:

 

With divine blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, a two day Sri Sathya Sai Yuva Chaithanya ParthiYathra commenced in Prashanthi Nilayam on Apil 22nd & 23rd 2018. 4000 SAI youth from the combined states of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana participated. State President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation AP & Telangana, Sri S G Chalam addressed a strong contingent of over 4000 devotees.Offering his heartfelt gratitude to Bhagawan for His bounty of boundless love, he emphasized the importance of 9 point Code of Conduct, Individual Transformation for comprehensive development of an individual to attain divinity.

 

The joint youth Coordinator, Sri Mahesh also elucidated the activities of Sri Sathya Sai youth in states of AP & Telangana which include Blood Donation Camps, Bhajans, Village Service (Gram Seva), Bal-Vikas etc.

 

Sri.Abishek who was a Bal-Vikas student narrated his experience, on how his life has been impacted in being associated with Sathya Sai Activities which also resulted in him achieving many awards in his academic career.

 

Smt.Manitha, Rajanna Siricilla District Youth Coordinator who hailed from a very remote village successfully moulded her career because of her association with Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations.

 

Mahila youth coordinator of the two states Smt Nivedita also addressed the devotees, and shared how the ‘Health, Hygiene & Nutrition, Exam preparation, Stress Management and Personality Development Sessions’ conducted by mahila youth have touched the lives of 16000 beneficiaries.

The State Youth coordinator Sri Ram Prasad submitted the annual Plan for Youth of AP & Telangana at Divine Lotus Feet. He gave directions for all youth to be active and offer their services which take us nearer to the Lord. A summary of various service activities of youth was presented to the audience.

 

Bhajans followed by offering Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.

 

All the Youth who were seated in special block had Swami’s Divine Darshan.

 

22nd April 2018 –Morning Session

 

VENUE—POORNACHANDRA  AUDITORIUM

 

With Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the morning session continued in Poornachandra Auditorium at 10:30 AM. With the youth seated in the auditorium in the immediate presence of Bhagawan, Sri Prasada Rao, Member Trustee Sri Sathya Sai Central trust narrated his own personal experiences depicting the love of Swami in transforming many lives in HIS family and gave a remarkable insight for the SAI MISSION ahead.

 

Sri R J Ratnakar, Member Trustee Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust narrated many experiences about how Swami carried out these many massive establishments, how He used to mould the students with good character and how He used to practice each and every sentence before directing others. Sri. Ratnakar,  gave many life experiences in his academic life with Bhagawan. He presented an overview of SAI Journey in everyone’s lives. He also gave the perspective of how anyone can be dear to Swami with good moral conduct with real life incidents connected with Swami.

 

He solicited all the youth to come to Prashanthi Nilayam and told  them to treat this place as their home.

 

He directed the youth to AVOID BAD COMPANY, AVOID using internet but to connect with GOD using inner net, reduce wastage of all the resources and serve selflessly.

ABC- Avoid Bad Company

 

Sri. Ratnakar narrated a beautiful example of garden flowers, how the same garden flowers used in different places have different values. The flowers which go for garlanding the God in a Temple will be received even after they are used by the devotees and specially ladies will place those flowers in the hair and the same garden flowers which were used on a dead body procession will not even be eligible to be crushed by our feet, though they are fresh. The company will decide what we are!!!

Waste of Money

 

Sri Ratnakar quoted an incident that happened in Kodaikanal where Bhagawan told the students about the money spent for food for ten people in a costly hotel was wasted as the same amount would feed about 200 people in Sathya Sai Canteen. This shows that we should never waste money or spend excessively at anytime.

 

This programme ended with felicitatiion of all those who  selflessly rendered their services in the districts of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.

 

Smt Yamuna Rani, District Mahila Coordinator, Siddipets showcased the importance of role of Mahila Youth in Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations and gave her insights on activities undertaken in Mahila Vibhag. Morning Session Concluded with Mangala Aarathi.

 

 

22nd April 2018 -Afternoon session

 

VENUE—POORNACHANDRA AUDITORIUM

 

With Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, The afternoon session again continued in Poornachandra Auditorium at 2:00 PM.

 

With the youth seated in the auditorium in the immediate presence of Bhagawan, Mr. Gopi Krishna Pidatala, Mr.Srinivas Yalamati and a professional Personality development trainer, Mr.Mallesh Annamaina interacted with SAI Youth during this session.

 

Mr. Gopi Krishna Pidatala, who has been associated with SSSO from his childhood and currently serving as National Coordinator depicted few incidents and experiences he had with Swami which laid a foundation for the afternoon programme. He directed the youth to choose a path which makes Swami happy and the importance of bending the body & mending the senses.

 

He told that “Swami always wanted Youth to be in GOOD Company (SATSANG) to be away from the evil aspirations and develop TRUST & FAITH in SAI which is the only hope for the survival.

 

Mr. Mallesh elucidated the importance of associating with Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations. How one can be successful by participating in Sai activities, enunciated the importance of motherland, parents and good character which makes YOUTH to be successful in their careers. His highly energetic talk inspired many YOUTH.

 

Forest Story

 

All the animals were living in a forest and one day the forest caught fire and every tree started burning and all the animals were running not bothering to put off the fire. One small parrot was trying to bring few drops of water and placed on the fire expecting to put fire off. Seeing the parrot’s plight, a tiger laughed at the parrot and asked what these few drops of water would do, the parrot answered saying we all stay in this forest, eat here, now when it is burning, you are all running, is it not a shame to betray the forest which has given shelter, food and everything.

 

Mr. Srinivas Y, Youth Coordinator,   narrated his various interactions with Swami. How Swami has moulded him and what exactly Swami is expecting YOUTH to be and the kind of love Swami gives to the people who serve the needy. He concluded his talk with a beautiful Bhajan.

 

The evening Session commenced at SAI KULWANT hall by 5 PM with AP & TS Sai youth rendering VEDAM in the divine presence of Bhagawan.

 

Sri Sathya Sai Youth from Andhra Pradesh & Telangana presented a bouquet of Songs “GAANA SUDHA LAHARI” to Swami.

 

The evening session concluded with bhajans, prasadam distribution and Maha Mangala Arathi.

 

23rd April 2018 –Morning Session

 

VENUE—SAI Kulwant HALL

 

Second day programme of Sri Sathya Sai Yuva Chaitanya Yatra started with Vedam chanting by SAI YOUTH of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, invoking the blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

 

Sri Sathish, Sai Youth who recently passed GROUP 1 exam – a prelude to Civil Services exam, gave a talk on the importance of association with Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation which made him what he is today. He recounted incidents which provoked him to take the exam of GROUP-1 and questions he faced in the interview  on SWAMI and HIS organisation that inspired and enthralled the audience.

 

Sri Dr V Mohan, Prominent Diabetalogist and Member Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, spoke about the importance of Developing FAITH in GOD and elucidated HIS experiences with Swami and His Omnipresence. He provided insights on how to behave ideally and be dearer to Swami and made all the gathering to plead Swami to give all the strength to Reach HIM through their ideal deeds.

 

Sri Dr Krishnaveni who hailed from a village in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh successfully completed her MBBS in Rangaraya Medical College in Kakinada with the help of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi-Giddalur in Prakasam District. She expressed her gratitude to Swami for making her to complete her education through HIS organisation. She promised Swami that she will be helping Students in her districts to complete their studies who are economically backward like her. She wanted to start Sri Sathya Sai Prema Mithra –A mobile medical Clinic in her district exclusively for paediatrics in her district as a token of love, along with her friends.

 

Smt  Aparna Lakshmi – Prakasam District Mahila Youth Coordinator submitted the action plan for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Mahila Youth to Swami and prayed for HIS guidance and blessings.

 

Sri Ram Prasad, State Youth Coordinator  presented the action plan and Bouquet of Activities to be undertaken in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana  invoking the blessings of Bhagawan for providing Strength, mentally and physically to make the SAI YOUTH HIS true instruments.

 

Annual Planner for Sri Sathya Sai Youth in AP& TS was released by Member Secretary & Trustee Sri Chakravarthy and all the dignitaries in the presence of Bhagawan.

 

23rd April 2018 –Morning Session

 

VENUE—POORNACHANDRA AUDITORIUM

 

With Blessings of Bhagawan, State Joint Youth Coordinator Sri Mahesh spoke about the TWO day programme held and informed the youth about the evening programme and future course of action.

 

Smt Aruna, Ex-State  Mahila Youth Coordinator, presented the importance of Mahila youth in the organisation and the amount of quality work undertaken by the organisation.

 

Sri N. Ramani, National Vice President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, directed youth to rededicate themselves in Nation Building and serving the needy as advised by Bhagawan to be on  path of Self Realization.

 

Sri V. Ramesh  elucidated the OMNIPRESENCE of Swami and how He directs and moulds lives of Youth and takes care of their well-being in their career.

 

Prof. Anil Kumar Kamaraju interacted with YOUTH and narrated the experiences he had with Swami to understand HIS real life and mission. He  gave examples of how Swami treats everyone, how He identifies the service done by common people. He added how Swami acknowledges the sacrifices of people, how He cares for the people who are suffering, few Miracles across the world and finally asked the YOUTH to have FAITH in SAI.

 

Youth from Warangal presented a classical PERINI dance, reverberating the hall with their performance.

 

23rd April 2018 –Evening RathYatra

 

Procession by Sai Youth of AP& TS

 

With blessings of Bhagawan, SAI Youth of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations organised RathYatra (Chariot Procession)from Kalyana Mandapam to Ganesh Gate.

 

The following are the Highlights of the event.

 

  • Decorated the rath (chariot) with Altar and Balavikas students dressed as GANESH, SRI SATHYA SAI & SHIRDI SAI were seated.
  • Mahila Youth led the procession by taking the Poorna Kumbam with Vedam& SAI Gayathri chanting.
  • Nadaswaram rendering – classic musical note added flavour creating a festive fervour
  • Adilabad District had a group dance – DHIMSA
  • Karimnagar placed their cultural dance – Oggudolu
  • Khammam district has organised THEENMAR rupakam—A cultural dance
  • Thappetagullu-A folk dance from Andhra Pradesh
  • Chekka Bhajana-Another folk dance of Andhra Pradesh
  • Chittoor District tapped a beat using a band of Drums suffusing the atmosphere in a festive mood.
  • The procession was started by Sri R J Ratnakar, Trustee –Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Sri H J Dora, Convenor, Sri Sathya Sai State Trust-Andhra Pradesh & Telangana and Sri S G Chalam, State President, Sri Sathya Sai SevaOrganisations, AP&TS.
  • SAI Youth and office bearers of the organisation inPuttaparthi  participated and thanked Swami for the opportunity.

 

24th April 2018 –Sri Sathya Sai Aaradhanotsavam

 

Service Opportunity blessed by Bhagawan for the SAI Youth of AP&TS. A Maha Narayana Seva was organised at the Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium during the occasion of Sri Sathya Sai Aaradhanotsavam, serving food and clothing to thousands of villagers in and around Puttaparthi. Extensive Service was rendered with the support of Sri Sathya Sai Youth of both the states with devotion and dedication. This served as a platform to showcase the gratitude to Swami and token of Love from SAI YOUTH. Youth engaged themselves in this service activity in cooking, transportation, serving, distributing clothes and crowd control.

 

Conclusion

 

It was a wonderful sight to see a large number of new comers who have not seen the physical form of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba  showing their interest to visit Putttaparthi,. They attended two days conference and were exposed to the talks of eminent people and they were shown a path ahead – a beautiful life to walk with Bhagawan as their lifelong companion. It was felt by everyone that Bhagawan witnessed the two days proceedings guiding every moment and making the Youth Conference a grand success and a memorable event. Entire State, District and Samithi Youth coordinators thanked Bhagawan Baba for giving this opportunity to be at His Lotus Feet.

 

State Youth Coordinators would soon place the action plans at Bhagawan Baba’s Divine feet and share the District youth wings with everyone.
