Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation J & K State in the month of July 2018 conducted a Medical Camp for the students of Indira Memorial Higher Secondary School Galwaday Chak located in Rural Area of Jammu. In this camp around 200 students were given prophylactic treatment and guidance provided for preventive healthcare and maintaining proper hygienic habits and cleanliness a way of life. In addition to the students, 50 other patients of the adjoining area were also treated for the prevailing day to day diseases and other diseases which crop up mostly during Monsoon. Free Medicine worth Rs.10, 000/- was provided to the deserving students and poor patients. This Medical Camp was held with the help of two Doctors and 4 Sevadal and the State President of the State Organisation was also present in this Medical Camp.
National Narayan Seva
National Narayan Seva is scrupulously been carried on in Government Medical College Hospital Bakshinagar Jammu every Sunday Morning by serving Tea and snacks to the attendants of patients coming from far off places for treatment of their kith and kin in the Hospital. Around 500 cups of Tea along with snacks are served to such attendants.
This type of service activity is also concurrently conducted in SMGS Hospital, Shalamar Chowk Jammu every Sunday by the volunteers of the organisation.
In recent times every Thursday edibles are served to the indoor patients of Chest Disease Hospital in Bakshinagar, Jammu and this activity by the SSSSO has been appreciated by the hospital administration.
A Veterinary Camp was held in the month of April 2018 in the village Shikha Peer Block Marh Jammu, under the guidance of expert Veterinarian Dr.M.L.Sharma. Nearly 150 cows and buffaloes were treated for Foot and Mouth Diseases and the cattle owners were educated about hygienic and profitable maintenance of their livestock
Eswaramma Day Celebration
Easwaramma Day was celebrated on 6th May 2018 by the Children in Sai Public School Bahu Fort Jammu. A comprehensive programme comprising of Veda recitation, skits and bhajans was held. A large gathering of devotees participated in the programme.
Shri.D.C.Raina Ex-Advocate General was the Chief Guest at the function and had a word of praise for the participating children for the wonderful programme presented by them.
