“Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation adopts Gottipalli in Anandapuram mandalam to develop it as SRI SATHYA SAI AADARSHA GRAMAM (Role Model Village) — “GOTTIPALLI”—

Sai Vatika- an integrated Grama Seva Mandir was inaugurated to render various service activities.

With the immense Grace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba “Sai Vatika- Sri Sathya Sai integrated gram Seva Mandir which was constructed at a cost of Rs. 1 crore by a long standing devotee of sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sri TK Rathi, was inaugurated today by Sri R.J. Ratnakar, Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai central trust along with Sri Nimish Pandya All India President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation, India at a grand function held at Gottipalli village of Anandapuram mandalam on 5th June 2017.This Rural Sai Center near Vizag, is a beautiful mandir resembling the architecture of Prasanthi Nilayam complex housing a marriage hall, vocational training center for ladies where they will be taught tailoring and also provided free food throughout their training period.

Vocational Training Center:

Sri Sathya Sai RVTC (Rural vocational training center) was inaugurated in the Sai Vatika premises by Sri Ratnakar, Sri Nimish Pandya and Sri Nagaraj Ramani, National Vice-President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation India. This center will provide training including free food for the needy women of weaker sections in Tailoring & Fashion design for 45 days. This training program has been taken up in association with BIRED (Bankers Institute of Rural and Entrepreneurship Development).

 The Marriage Hall:

The marriage hall will be available for everyone, free of charge and for all religions.

Health Clinic:

The Sai Center also has got a small health clinic headed by a local doctor who will the run the clinic throughout the week and this will also be available free of charge.


Sri Sathya Sai Organisation has also kept a modern ambulance for any medical emergency.

Sai Literature:

The Center also has a book stall with Swami’s literature with books in Telugu language

Role Model Village:

Sri Nimish Pandya declared Gottipalli as the 1st village to be adopted by Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation in the country to develop it as a Role Model village. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Nimish Pandya said that Gottipalli should be a role model for every state in India in providing various service activities for the upliftment of the needy and the village on the whole on various fronts be it health, hygiene, swatch Bharath and various other matters.

Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Jyothi:

The district organization has adopted the Government run primary school under the prestigious  SSS VIDYA JYOTHI programme started by the Sathya Sai Organisation of India. The VIDYA JYOTHI programme provides various facilities to the local children like giving books, clothes,  school bags, providing foot wear to the children, Painting the school , getting the play ground ready and most importantly providing clean toilets to the school.

Sri KVN Satyanarayana, Sarpanch, Gottipalli, Sri RJ Ratnakar, Sri Nimish Pandya also inaugurated An Ambulance and Medical centre at Sai Vatika today, later, Sri Ratnakar, Sri Nimish Pandya, Sri Nagaraj Ramani visited a school adopted by Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation under “Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Jyothi” to bring a sea change in the quality of education, improving infrastructure in the school. The dignitaries presented school bags, new uniforms, cheppals, books and other material to the budding students. They were appreciative of the children chanting Sai Gayathri on the occasion.

Sri Nagaraj Ramani , National Vice-President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation said that it is commendable to see the spirit and commitment of sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation, Visakhapatnam district to bring about a sea change in Gottipalli.

Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust:

Sri TK Rathi handed over the documents and keys of Sai Vatika to Sri RJ Ratnakar who received it on behalf of Sri Sathya Sai central trust. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Ratnakar lauded the efforts of Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation, Vizag and the support by the villagers of Gottipalli in establishing Sai Vatika integrated Grama Seva Mandir. He lauded the selfless efforts and commitment of Sri TK Rathi and family members in setting up such a beautiful multi utility Mandir in such a emote place like Gottipalli. He said that Gottipalli will soon emerge as a role model village in India map for others to emulate. Ratnakar called upon everybody to carry on the noble service activities in a much bigger way with utmost love and passion. He complimented Sri S G Chalam, State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for inspiring all sevadal (volunteers) and other office bearers in both the states with love and dedication in carrying out service activities to the needy on a grand scale.

Sri S G Chalam, State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation, AP & Telangana thanked Sri Ratnakar, Sri Nimish Pandya and Sri Nagaraj Ramani for coming all the way and encouraging all devotees in rendering service in to the needy and under privileged.

Sri VR Nageswara Rao, District President highlighted various service projects to be taken up at Gottipalli village. The dignitaries lauded the support of Sri KV Satyanarayana, Sarpanch, Gottipalli for his support in the service activities being rendered by Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation.

Sri Ratnakar and Sri Nimish Pandya felicitated Sri TK Rathi and family on the occasion. Sri TK Rathi family felicitated Sri Ratnakar, Sri Nimish Pandya and Sri Nagaraj Ramani on the occasion.

In his address, Sri TK Rathi said that the Mandir was constructed by his family as per the divine advice given by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba to serve the poor and needy in remote area. He thanked Sri Ratnakar for accepting to take over Sai Vatika Mandir for better care, maintenance and conducting various service activities as per the divine ideology of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Sri R Lakshmana Rao, State Vice-President, several District Presidents and State Coordinators from various districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana graced the occasion.
