The sevadals of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, Karimganj have carried out a Cleanliness drive at 7:00 AM in the front-areas of Anukul Sagar, Karimganj which was followed by three times chanting of Omkaram and Sai Gayatri Mantra at 11 AM followed by a short explanation of the meaning of Swachata Se Divyata by Sri Siba Sankar Dutta, District Vice-President, Karimganj and Hailakandi. Before starting the rally, there was a small press meet where Sri Sanjay Paul Choudhury, District President, Karimganj and Hailakandi shared the entire program and also explained the significance of this celebration. Thereafter, a rally started from the venue of Eashwarmma Yoga Coaching Centre, Karimganj with the students of Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas Centre, Karimganj and the students of Eashwarmma Yoga Coaching Centre, Karimganj along with their parents accompanied by devotees, sevadals, youths and office bearers of our organisation and students of local schools and university, teaching staffs, etc. In the middle of the rally, there was a small cultural and awareness program at Sambhu Sagar Park, Karimganj where the Yoga students presented some of the postures of yoga lead by their trainer and the Balvikas students sang two Sai Bhajans along with their Balvikas Guru and instrument players. Some sort of Awareness and Cleaning Program were also done at the Park premises. The rally then continued and ended after reaching at Eashwarmma Yoga Coaching Centre, Karimganj. Along with the sevadals, local youths and parents distributed 56 small plants to all the Balvikas as well as Yoga students which are to be planted in their own houses. Awareness was also provided to the B.V. and Yoga students regarding the significance of tree plantation and also explained the reason for which Plastics should not be used. The sevadals distributed water bottles and chocolates during the rally and other Prasadam at the end of the program.
