Marathon Veterinary Camp

29th Aug 2021 Today on day 7th, being the last day of veterinary and animal health camp, some animals which were left unattended in the border zero line villages of layal and Gatala were taken up for dosing and vaccination. Accordingly, 30 animals were dosed with anthelmintics against fascioliasis commonly known as liver fluke disease and also against tapeworms which are the most common problems prevailing in the area.

In addition, another 32 animals were vaccinated against foot and mouth disease which is quite prevalent in the present humid Season of the area.  After covering the two border villages as a whole, another village namely shakapeer which also falls to the nearby border was taken up along with a team of experts and dedicated Sevadal. In this village too vaccinations against foot and mouth disease were taken up and accordingly 50 animals and 23 sheep and goats were vaccinated.

Moreover, another group of Sevadal dosed some 43 animals against the various parasitic diseases with broad-spectrum anthelmintic medicines. As such on the Last day of camp with the divine blessings and unparallel love from Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba a total no. of animals treated, dosed and vaccinated were 178 heads of different categories of livestock. It was all possible by Bhagawan’s will with divine directions. All necessary Covid appropriate measures were taken in hand while performing the Seva by the expert professional veterinarians along with the trained Sevadal.

The villagers had a great praise for such seva of SSSSOrg with full of love and dedication towards the profession. At the end of the camp a small Bhajan segment along with Arthi was performed at the lotus feet of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba with universal prayer for all humanity. Loving Sairam! 23 Aug 2021: with the divine bliss from Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, a seven days marathon veterinary camp have been started successfully from today in village Halqa Marh and in surrounding villages wherein doorstep treatment, along with dosings and vaccination will be provided to the animals of all categories belonging to poor farmers who cannot afford costlier treatment. Different villages will be covered. Where Government veterinary facilities are meager and it becomes quite difficult for the farmers to take their livestock to far-off places for the rendering of treatment and for other schedule disease prevention. Today’s camp was inaugurated by the state President of SSSSOrg. j & k Jammu along with the technical expertise from a senior-most professional from the field of veterinary medicine and animal health Dr. M k Turki along with five trained sevadal of the SSSSOrg at Village Halqa Marh and in village Tokrian were about 63 animals of different categories were treated and dosed with broad-spectrum anthelmintic against liver fluke ( fascioliasis ), tapeworms, roundworms, and lungworm infestations. It was to the great relief for poor farmers, who appreciated this type of doorstep treatment for the first time free of cost.
