BRIEF REPORT ON VISIT OF ALL INDIA PRESIDENT, ALL INDIA VICE PRESIDENT AND THE NATIONAL TEAM
Respected Shri Nimish Pandya, All India President and Respected Shri N. Ramani, All India Vice President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, India along with the National Team arrived at Bagdogra at 2.00 pm on 15th May 2016 and was received by the State President State Vice President, State Trust Convener, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Sikkim alongwith State Office Bearers and the District Presidentt and the District level office bearers, Goangtok-North District, with traditional Khadas (scarf) and bouquets.
The team were escorted to Sikkim and received by the Office bearers of East District organization at Rangpoo with Naumati Baja (Nepali traditional band) and escorted to Mining guest house with a caravan of vehicles. Large number of the office bearers and the devotees, Bal Vikas students of Rangpoo, Mamring awaited the delegates at Mining and received them with khadas. Bal Vikas students of Rangoo Mamring presented two Bhakti dances marking as welcome to the honored guests.
The Team arrived Gangtok at 8.30 pm and took rest after the dinner.
DAY-2 : 16/5/2016 : Morning Session:
The respected All India President and the National team were escorted to the village Prashnthi Gram, an adopted village under Sri Sathya Sai Village Integrated Programme under Balwakhani Samithi of Gangtok-North District. A Sai Centre which was constructed at the initiation of the villagers specially the mahilas of the village; supported and supervised by the Gangtok-North District was inaugurated by the honored guest Sri Nimish Pandya, All India President and Sri N. Ramani, All India Vice President in presence of the State President, State Vice President, the State Coordinators, District President, Gangtok-North and the District, Samithi and the Mandali level Office bearers and the local gentries, the MLAs. The Honoble Minister for Health Care and Family welfare, Sri Arjun Ghatani was also present on the occasion. The respected All India President Sir was very much pleased to meet with the local gentries who talked with each individuals of the SSSVIP village and expressed his happiness to meet them
The Al India President and His entire National team was escorted to Sri Sathya Sai Dharma Nilayam, at Balwakhani which is the State Head Quarter of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Sikkim. The guests were received by huge crowd of the devotees and the Office bearers of all the Bhajan Mandalis/ Samithis and the District of Gangtok-North and East District.
After hoisting the Prashanthi Flag by the honored Guest, he was escorted inside the Mandir hall where all the Office bearers and the devotees were waiting. After welcome speech all the honored guest were welcomed by our small kids with Khada and bouquet in their traditional dresses. Brief report on Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Sikkim and its activities was presented by the State President followed by the power point presentation on disaster Management and SSSVIP by the State Coordinator, Service cum DM In-Charge.
After the brief presentation, respected All India President, Shri Nimish Sir, addressed the august gathering and delivered the message of our beloved Sai. In his speech he emphasized to surrender at the Divine Lotus Feet and to carry His Divine activities of His Mission. He further added that the person who comes in the Organisation with the intention to change others should not come to the Sri Sthya Sai Seva Organisation unless he himself intends to change. He also stressed upon self transformation to transform the world which Bhagawan Baba always narrated in His Divine discourses.He also declared that Sikkim need not take effort to be a Sai Rajya because Sikkim has already become a Sai Rajya.
After the lunch there was an interaction session with the Sai youths which was very fruitful. He also explained the Vidhya Jyoti Project that was already been launched.
The Bhajan Group presented the Bhaktee Sangeet program at Manan Kendra in the evening which was attended by the All India President, the All India Vice President and His National team.
3RD DAY: 17/5/2016
After breakfast at May Fair hosted by the Hon’ble Minister, Shri Arjun Ghatani, the National team was escorted by the State Office bearers to Ravangla, West District Head quarter. In reaching Rabongla, the honored guests were received by the District President, District, Samithi and the Bhajan Mandali level Office bearers and a good number of devotees and the youths. After the lighting of lamp AIP sir and Madam along with all the National team were welcomed with Khadas and bouquet. The session started with veda chanting and Bhakti geet. This was followed by the speech of respected All India President who expressed his happiness over the activities so carried out by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Sikkim. Then introduction of the District, Samithi and Mandali level Office bearers of West District was conducted by the State Coordinator, Service,(Male). The programme ended with pancha Bhajan/Aarathi and bibhuti prasadam.
The National team was escorted to Buddha Park at Ralang, near Rabongla after the lunch where the team members visited the Park and enjoyed the beauty of the place. Respected All India President proposed to organize a Convention on Spirituality( specially on Buddhism) and also a devotional musical programme during the month of October 2016 subject to confirmation from the State in consultation with the Hono’ble Minister, Health Care and Family Welfare as well the Area M.L.A and State Office Bearers and the District Presidents.
Later on, the team was escorted to South District head quarter, Namchi where the District President along with the District, Samithi and the Bhajan Mandali Office bearers and the devotees were waiting . The team was welcomed with Khadas and flowers and was escorted inside the Mandir Hall. AIP Sir delivered the message of Swami to the august gathering and emphasized to dedicate their time in carrying HIS DIVINE WORK OF HIS MISSION. Introduction of District/Samithi and Mandali level office bearers of South District with the AIP and the National team was carried out and the programme concluded with Mangal Aarathi.
4th DAY: 18/5/2016
The National team was escorted to Jorethang from Namchi where the devotees and the Office bearers and the Honorable Minister and area MLA Sri Arjun Ghataney who had reached Jorethang early morning were waiting to receive the honored guests. After lighting of sacred lamp inside the mandir AIP sir delivered his short speech and blessed the gathering with Swami’s Divine messages.
After the breakfast the Honorable Minister, Mr Arjun Ghataney guided the National team to Green Park at Jorethang and AIP expressed his happiness in seeing such a beautiful place and he also opinioned to have installed a Lazer screen in the back site of the fountain displaying Swami’s Life history beginning from His childhood.
Then after, the AIP sir and Madam Kamala Pandya was escorted by the Honorable Minister in his Govt. vehicle to Dharmanilyam Project area at Mazitar followed by a caravan of vehicles escorting the National Team and the office bearers. The Dy. Mayor and Councillor of Nagar Panchayat, Jorethang also joined the group. On reaching Mazitar AIP Was made aware of the land and the Project and Chanting Ganesh Mantra coconut was broken on the spot committing to start the project at the earliest.
The team was then taken to a village, namely: Compound village adopted under SSSVIP by Namchi Samithi under South District. The team visited the house of Mr. Manger constructed by the Samithi in the year 2000 and the team also visited the Community centre and Aarathi was offered to Bhagawan.
This was the last spot of visit by the team and the entire National team was escorted to Kalimpong, the next destination. The team was received by the State President West Bengal along with large number of the office bearers and the devotees of Kalimpong Sub Division at Melli, the boarder of Sikkim and West Bengal. Though the team was received by the Bengal Officials, the National team was escorted by the Sikkim State Official up to Kalimpong in West Bengal
