With the Divine Grace of Swami, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samiti, Valsad distributed 2040 packets of biscuits and Food packets on 28-05-2020 to migrant workers going back to Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand by Shramik Express. Also 180 Kgs. (1800 Pcs) of Bananas were distributed to police officers, migrant workers of West Bengal as well as patients and staff of Valsad Civil Hospital.

On the Occasion of Eshwaramma week celebrations, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization, Surat, Gujarat has  organised Online Competitions for all the creative, enthusiastic Boys and Girls in the age group of 6 – 15 years.

Following competitions are held on daily basis.

May 01: Drawing Competition

May 02: Essay writing Competition

May 03: Best out of waste making competition

May 04: Fancy Dress Competition

May 05: Elocution Competition

Children are divided into 3 groups:

Group 1: 6 – 9 years

Group 2: 9 – 12 years

Group 3: 12 – 15 years

Daily separate links have been sent for uploading the child’s performance as per group and the judges will evaluate and decide the winners. 140 participants have already registered for the competitions.

AMRUT KALASHAM to the needy families

VADODARAGujarat State President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Shri Hemantbhai Patel handed over 101 Amrutkalasham kits to deputy collector of Vadodara Smt. Khyati Patel. Also another 150 kits were handed over to RSS Shaka office, so in total 251 kits were given by strictly following government norms.

VALSADSri Sathya Sai Seva Samiti Valsad handed 100 Amrut Kalashams & 200 Biscuit Packets to the Government Authority for distribution to the needy families.

Aradhana Diwas -24 April 2020

Aradhana Day-Surat and Ahamedabad-SVP Report


On the auspicious occasion of Swami’s Aradhana Day, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithis of Surat started a community kitchen with all prior govt permissions and travel passes for Sevadal. This kitchen will be cooking food daily and handing it over to authorities for distribution to the needy Industrial workers of Pandesara area. It was inaugurated with chanting of Omkars & Veda mantras recitation and lighting of the lamp by the MLA Shri Vivek Patel, Gujarat SVP Shri Avinash Rao and Surat DP Shri Parimal Vyas. MLA Shri Vivek Patel appreciated and thanked our organization for taking this initiative. He said it’s a blessing to be present on this special day.

Total: 1,002 narayanas were served prasadam.

Also In Surat district, on this occasion of Aradhana Day, devotees prepared masala rice at home and total of 1,186 food packets were handed over to the Govt authorities for distribution to the needy.


A community kitchen operational since 19th April at Ahmedabad,  made a special Maha Narayana Seva on the occasion of Swami’s Aradhana Day. Total prasadam for 3,507 narayanas were prepared handed over to police authorities for distribution in COVID affected areas of the city. Also individual devotees prepared 300 food packets at their own home and handed over to the authorities for distribution.

Valsad Samiti, Gujarat handed over to Ploice for distribution, MASKS, HAND GLOVES, SANITIZER BOTTLES, ENERGY DRINK POWDER PACKETS, BISCUITS and CHOCOLATES to the deserved people including Policemen in and around Valsad Town.

1000 Hand Gloves, 450 Masks, 200 Bottles of Sanitizers, 105 Energy Drink Powder Packets, Biscuits & Chocolates and 6 Sevadal have extended service.

20 April 2020                                  Services during Corona Crisis 

With Bhagawan’s Grace Sri Sathya Sai Community kitchen started at Ahmedabad, Gujarat on auspicious day of Ladies Day  1: (19-04-2020). Prepared fresh Masala Poori for 500 beneficiaries.

Day 2: (20-04-2020) Community kitchen at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Fresh Food Preparated for 400 beneficiaries. Packing in process.

Valsad, Gujarat distributed Umbrellas, Biscuits and chocolates to the policemen in and around Valsad town.

With permission from the D.Y.S.P. office and following all the norms, the Sevadal wore masks & gloves and went in the Samithi’s Ambulance. All the Policemen were extremely happy & satisfied by this service. They immediately opened the umbrellas and started using them.

Disaster Management Training (Awareness) program

SSSSO, Gujarat (District Surat) organized 2 – days Disaster Management Training (Awareness) program was held at Sri Sathya Sai Seva Campus, Surat on 4 – 5 January, 2020 for self registered students from 8 colleges of Surat city. Each day had a same schedule from 7:00 a.m to 4:30 pm. with registration, breakfast, theoretical knowledge, practical exercise, lunch, Q&A and feedback sessions.
Total numbers of participant were 385. The Students were divided into 2 groups and one group (190 students) participated on Saturday and another group (185 students) on Sunday. Local Sai Youths were also imparted training to conduct such type of DA in future. One year detailed activity schedule was given to each participant with date – time – venue for them to participate in organizational activities during the year 2020.
Shri Amit Dubey (National Co-ordinator, DM) was the main trainer for this event. State President Shri Hemantbhai Patel, National Council Member Shri Manohar Trikannad and Dr. Sanket Mehta (State Co-ordinator, DM) actively participated and motivated the students. This was initiated by SVP Shri Avinash Rao and Sai Youths of Surat in continuation of their Youth Outreach program. The participants were so enthusiastic that they reached the venue before 7 am on a cold winter morning, showing eagerness to learn and then serve the society at times of disasters.
