Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation ~ Mumbai Metro

Venue: Dr. B R Ambedkar Ashramshala, Dabhad, Shirole Taluka, Bhiwandi.

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Mulund Samithi from Mumbai organised a massive medical camp at the Ashram shala (tribalschool) at Bhiwandi. A team of 12 doctors consisting of two Neurologists, one Oncologist, Dentist and general physicians diagnosed 343 children of the school and recommended treatment. It was the first time a medical camp at this large scale had been organised at this Ashramshala. The Ashramshala Principal, Teaching and the Non-Teaching staff and the trustees extended their great support in conducting this medical camp. The camp was followed by Narayan Seva

Two water purifiers, cleaning equipments and a compact toiletry kit per child was distributed after the narayan seva

The camp was commended by all the school authorities as the children had a great check-up drive. The seva dal felt happy on taking one step towards the betterment of the physical helath of the often neglected tribal children and prayed to continue on the same path Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s love and grace

With the Divine blessings of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Mulund Samithi from Mumbai, has been celebrating Raksha Bandhan festival for the past 17 years, at the Home for specially challenged children of the Children’s Aid Society, Mankhurd. This year too as the festival fell on August 26th 2018, the day was celebrated at the Children’s Aid society which houses about 190 girls and 140 boys.

Bhajans, Aarti, Rakshabandhan celebration, sweet distribution was done with great love and enthusiasm.  As the familiar faces from Mulund Samithi team reached the place at 10.30 am they were welcomed by the inmates with a series of claps as excitement gleamed in their faces. The celebrations commenced with a symphony of bhajans offered at the lotus feet of Bhagwan Baba by the Samithi members and the children of the Society. They sang Sai Hamara hum Sai ke with a selfless heart and the hall reverberated with the echoes of pure love and bliss. It was then followed by the traditional rakhi tying ceremony where the girls tied rakhi to the boys. The samithi members also joined in the rakhi tying ceremony.

Their enthusiasm and cheer marked the true essence of this festival.
