Around 1500 Doctors and Paramedics to attend the 1st Sathya Sai – 2 day National Medical conference

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations India conducts a 2 day All India Medical conference on 19th and 20th August 2017

 Sri Ramesh Kumar, Hon”ble Minister for Health,Govt of Karnataka would be the Chief Guest

Dr Soma Raju, Director, Care Hospitals, Hyderabad would be the Guest of Honor at the inaugural function of this Conference on Saturday 19th August 2017.

Dr Kamineni Srinivas, Hon’ble Minister for Health & Medical Education, Govt of Andhra Pradesh would be the Chief Guest at the Valedictory function of the Conference on Sunday 20th August 2017.

Prasanthi Nilayam/Hyderabad, 16th August 2017 – The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations India (SSSSO India) – a multi cultural international spiritual service organisation from Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh today announced a 2 day All India Medical conference on the 19th and 20th August 2017.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has told doctors that it was not enough even if free healthcare was provided; it must also be done with love. Sri Sathya Sai Healthcare Mission could be classified as:

1) The Sri Sathya Sai Global Health Mission and

2) Sri Sathya Sai Medical  Mission in India :

Sri Sathya Sai Medical  Mission in India can be further classified as :

1) Static services under which we have the General Hospital and Super Speciality Hospitals, Health Centres and Clinics and

2)  Outreach services which consists of Mobile Hospitals.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who in His infinite Love and Grace to mankind has taught us that Sacrifice is the hallmark of a good doctor; spreading humaneness for a healthy life across regions, religions , colour and creed. 

Statistics

Today, as a part of Medical Seva Mission of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India, over 4000 Doctors and equal number of Para medics and Sevadals are rendering service to the underprivileged and needy in the areas of Allopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy and also Veterinary care. Over the last year about 20 lakh beneficiaries have been reached out for medical diagnosis and surgery support in our permanent clinics and our mobile health services vans across the 20 States of India. Rehabilitation Seva, post surgeries is done with free medicines is an important feature of our Seva.

Commenting on the purpose of this conference Mr. Nimish Pandya , All India President, SSSSO India said, “In addition to various activities which the organization has been doing for decades, ranging from free education to rescue missions and free medical treatment to diverse community service, today’s initiatives are aimed at making the medical services available to the needy based on Sathya Sai Baba’s 5 principles:  1) Universal  2) Free  3) Loving  4) Comprehensive 5)Preventive”

Objectives of this National Medical Seva Conference are basically two-fold:

1) To recognize the efforts of the participants who have been serving the country with a passion to spread love and good health.

2)  To discuss various aspects of Medical Seva and to see   how we could expand these services to the next level..

Stalwarts in the medical field such as Dr  P Venugopal,eminent Cardiologist from Delhi, Padma Shri Dr V Mohan, eminent  Diabetologist from Chennai , Dr Ajit Mullasari, Cardiologist & Director, Madras Medical Mission, Chennai ,Tamil Nadu,  Dr J S N Murthy, Cardiologist & Former Vice-Chancellor,SRMC University,Porur,Chennai,,Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, Scientist ‘E’, Division of NCD at the Indian Council of Medical Research, Mrs Kavita Narayan, Technical Advisor ,Ministry of Health  & Family Welfare , Govt of India  ,Dr Mahendrasinh Chauhan, Former Member of Medical Council of India ,Dr A V Srinivasan,Eminent Neuro-Physician from Chennai and many more luminaries of the Medical Profession would be participating in the Conference.
